Waseca Theater Arts

The Waseca High School Drama Department and Waseca Community Education provide our community with excellent theatrical experiences.  Two full length productions, a one-act play, and two summer productions are presented each year.pipilongs

This past fall and spring we were treated with a wide variety of theater, starting with William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Astrid Lindren’s Pippi Longstocking. In the summer Community Education Department produced Pyrimus and Thisbe, Once Upon a Playground and A Christmas Carol.

Many of our alumni continue to perform beyond their experiences on our stage.  Over the years colleges have honored our graduates with acting and technical scholarships. A number have branched out to stages, television, and movies from New York to California.

Come and see the new talents
