
Waseca Lakefest Music Celebration & Fireworks over Clear Lake

Lakefest on the Fourth of July is a family event celebrated in the perfect small town atmosphere of Clear Lake Park in Waseca.
The Waseca Chamber of Commerce, City of Waseca, Waseca County, and Waseca Proud Committee host this special event.
The day begins with the Lakefest Freedom Run, now in its sixth year. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. at Clear Lake Park. The 1-mile run/walk begins at 8 a.m. and the 4.2-mile run/walk around Clear Lake starts at 8:30 a.m. Runners can pre-register online at Waseca Community Education at: https://ssl.dwebsite.com/secure2/ce_isd829/php/public.php

Other day-long activities in Clear Lake Park begin at noon. The park itself is filled with playground equipment and opportunities for fun including:
- Food vendors and musicians
- Games and crafts
- Boat parade and canoe paddlefest
- Music all day in the Clear Lake Park bandstand
- Fireworks over the lake at dusk
The elements add up to a wonderful way to spend the day. Friends and family gather in a terrific park setting just to relax, enjoy the food and entertainment and to be together. That’s Lakefest. Everyone is welcome to share in the Fourth of July festivities at Waseca’s beautiful Clear Lake Park. It is becoming a family tradition!
