Waseca School Age Care
Waseca School Age Care (WSAC) / Camp Cool Summer Program is a year round Waseca Community Education program that offers fun, high quality care to children in grades K-6. Children are encouraged to be involved in a wide-variety of activities during the school year and summer which include: crafts, art, computers, sports, storytelling, free play and age appropriate school-based learning activities. Waseca School Age Care takes many field trips during the summer and has access to many facilities which include large rooms, gyms, playgrounds, library resources, kitchens, commons areas, computer labs, busses, parks and pools.
Perks of Waseca School Age Care include:
Convenience – safe transportation of children to and from school is arranged by WSAC
Almost ALWAYS Open
Mornings from 6:30 a.m. to start of school
Afternoons from 3:00-6:00 p.m.
Non-School days and snow days – 6:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
Open for early out days, AND late start days (due to weather)
Waseca County 4-H organizes learning projects once a month for children.

Perks of Camp Cool Summer Program:
Free hours – WSAC does not charge over 40 hours per week.
Open long hours – 6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Free meals – hot breakfast, lunch and snack are included (WSAC is part of the Minnesota Department of Education Child and Adult Food Care Program.)
Free transportation – transportation all summer long for your children to and from Waseca Community Education Activities.
Open Enrollment – WSAC has no maximum amount of children allowed. WSAC keeps a 15:1 ratio.
