Waseca Gymnastics Center
Waseca Gymnastics Center, a program of Waseca Community Education, teaches gymnastics in a creative way to help children of all ages develop their minds and bodies in a safe, enjoyable atmosphere.
Gymnastics is a great developmental tool at all ages. For the preschooler, gymnastics is an excellent way to enhance motor development, listening skills, problem solving and general body control. School age children will reap the benefits of greater strength, flexibility and overall fitness. Many young boys and girls involved with other physical disciplines such as baseball, soccer, dance or cheerleading; the sport of gymnastics will provide them with correct fundamentals of movement and balance, in addition to teaching them how to land safely from any skill; the benefit your children will take with them to any other sport or physical activity will be enormous. Gymnastics also serves as a means to help each child develop greater self confidence and a more positive self-image.
Waseca Gymnastics has year round instructional classes for ages two to adult. A competitive team program is also available for girls. In addition to gymnastics, Power Playground is offered…a workout activity for both boys and girls ages six and up.
