The Waseca Area Learning Center
The Waseca Area Learning Center (WALC) is dedicated to providing students a place where they can be engaged in meaningful learning that meets rigorous academic standards, become well prepared for post-secondary experiences, and continue to take pride in the reputation for excellence at the WALC.

Each student is provided with a Continual Learning Plan (CLP) that addresses a student’s learning objectives and experiences for the year, the assessment measurements used to evaluate a student’s progress while documenting the requirements for grade level or other appropriate progression in the student’s education. CLP’s are re-evaluated each trimester
