Waseca Area Tourism & Visitor’s Bureau
The Waseca Area Tourism and Visitors Bureau (WATVB) is a non-profit organization created to promote Waseca as a tourism destination to people outside the Waseca area. We use the revenues collected from the lodging tax of area motels to do this job. The WATVB works closely with the Waseca Area Chamber of Commerce to achieve our mission. Some of our emphasis is to promote attendance at area events such as Sleigh and Cutter, Marching Classic, Housewalk, Chatauqua, etc. In 2008, the WATVB began to put promotional emphasis on promoting Waseca as a day destination to shop, enjoy our lakes and trails, Water Park, etc.
